Horse racing live streaming is available at most major betting sites, but you can also find that a lot of the mid-range tracks stream their races online for free off their own websites. Sometimes just have to sign up an e-mail address or something like that, but it’s a great way to watch races at tracks you don’t normally play.
If I couldn’t stream for free online, I never would have got into racing. Playing at far-flung tracks with exotic horses is one of the greatest pleasures in racing, in my opinion at least.
Additionally, you can watch 30 minutes of free streaming courtesy of youbet.com at some of their partner sites like Espn.com/horse-racing. You can watch virtually every major American racetrack here from Arlington to Yavapai. If you get bummed out only being restricted to 30 minutes of racing, simply download Hotspot Shield- a proxy program that randomly generates US IP addresses. Once your 30 minutes are up, charge up your proxies and you’ll get another 30 minutes.

You can get the full day’s racing action at Monmouth Park live right off their website. They are generally one of the first thoroughbred tracks under way every single day when there’s a meet. Fort Erie racetrack is like Woodbine’s little cousin. Located just outside Hamilton, Ontario on the US border, it’s a tricky little dirt track with a turf course as well when the weather gets a bit bad. They stream live racing every day and have one of the better presentations out there. Tampa Bay Downs is a solid spot that generally runs during the winter months in North America. You’ll find some quality streaming action there but don’t listen to a word out of the mouth of that old lady who hosts their show. I’ve never seen her get much right. Golden Gate Fields is part of the Calracing.com network and you can stream live racing from all California racetracks for free just by giving them your e-mail. It’s one of the best deals in racing.
